Pop-Up Adoption Event at LA Auto Show

LA Auto Show, Los Angeles Convention Center (Subaru, West Hall)

Pasadena Humane Wiggle Waggle Waggin’ is out and about bringing adoptable pets to your community. Visit the Waggin’ at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 21, 23, and 26 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and adopt your new best friend! We’ll be with Subaru of America, Inc. in the West Hall, so come check out some great cars and maybe even meet your new best friend. (Kyle has already been adopted, but our Waggin’ crew will be bringing lots of other great dogs who would love to go home with you!)

Academy at Pasadena Humane

November 29 @ 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Recurring Event)

Pasadena Humane’s Academy offers kids ages 12 to 14 an in-person opportunity to learn about animal care, behavior, health, art & enrichment. At the end of each session, the participants will have a greater understanding of what it takes to pursue careers in animal welfare. Participants will be able to interview staff, learn about the kennels, tour the medical clinics, and observe animal behavior and care while earning volunteer hours. Pasadena Humane Academy promotes compassion and cares for all animals while encouraging participants’ tolerance, confidence, and adaptability.

*Please note: There will be no class on November 22.

Puppy Playschool

December 3 & December 10 @ 9:30 am – 10:15 am

Puppy guardians! Looking for a safe and fun venue to socialize with your new best friend? Registration is NOW OPEN for Pasadena Humane’s Puppy Playschool on December 3 and December 10! Join the training staff and fellow new puppy parents. This ongoing workshop welcomes vaccinated puppies who are over 8 weeks or under 16 weeks of age. Your puppy will be gently exposed to novel sights & sounds and our small sized playgroups are thoughtfully designed to help build your puppy’s confidence gradually. Skilled trainers and volunteers educated in dog body language will be on hand to guide you and your pup to learn about healthy play & positive training building blocks.  

Limit 15 pups per session 

Must have one adult pet parent present. We request only one pet parent per puppy, please  

Puppies must be up to date on vaccines appropriate for their age 

Puppies must be wearing a collar and leash  

$25 per session
